I would love to have 3 or 4 dedicated tagging fields in the form for each task. Each field would have a pull-down of pre-defined or previously used options (typing not required). Each of these pull-down lists would need to be unique from each other and unique from the options given in other task lists.
    There are two main goals:
    1. Create hierarchical tagging that has appropriate options that cover the needs of a particular list (the options on personal lists will be very different than work lists)
    2. Enable report worthy searching constancy by entering the majority of tagging info with pull-down menus and leaving free-form # tags for the fine details. This added structure will reduce susceptibility to typing errors, prevent the number of tags from ballooning unnecessarily, and remind people to add the identifying details.

A little more background. I would like to use it for a construction punch list (tracking items that need to be repaired/changed). Although I'd like to get everyone working out of the app directly, it is often not practical (limited connectivity, people lose or damage their phone, technology ineptitude, etc). I need the ability to narrow down a long list to a shorter list that only contains items that apply to a particular group or individual and print a report that includes all relevant information, including attachments. In my example, most of the attachments are marked-up pictures with an occasional pdf. I recognize that printing all attachments could get messy if an attachment is large so maybe provide some options for excluding files that are inappropriate for printing. Maybe provide a flag for each attachment that allows it to be excluded it from reports? Maybe files can be included/excluded based on file type or size?
