If you have enabled the ‘Flagged email’ option from settings in To Do, then any email you flag in Outlook will show up under the ‘Flagged email’ smartlist.

From the Outlook web app, you can create a task out of an email by right-clicking —> Advanced actions —> Create task. You can also select a message in the body of an email and create a task out of it.

If I understand this correctly , u can do this. I use regularly.

Just setup a “quick step” so when ur in an email you select the quickstep u setup and it will take the email and make it a task.

But I must not be understanding the request because the developer who responded should of know this!

I guess this is going to be ignored.

I have followed and voted on other requests for this. I don’t think the developers know how to “prioritise” work otherwise they would know just having a star and high, med, low simply doesn’t work.

Suggest looking into the methods mentioned above as adds no value in current form.

I’m constantly looking for an alternative to my excel spreadsheet as todo just doesn’t have enough features

Please look at this , a lot of people find this missing feature a real pain point

    Thanks
