While we aren’t adding automatic population of due dates to My Day at the moment, we have made some significant changes to the Planned list.
Rolling out on Android now (version 2.17), and coming soon to other platforms, you can now see a distinct Today view in the Planned list. You can also choose to group this view by list so that you get a view of what you have to do today across all your lists. You can choose to close particular lists e.g. Home if you don’t want to see it while at work.

I don't always finish my current days items in "My Day". Could there be an option to carry forward these items when one opens the list for "My Day" on the next day. On a side note, being able to select multiple items as one does with the control key and alt key when selecting items elsewhere would be useful. I would find it useful when going through to select items for "My Day" from other lists.
Often we do not complete my day tasks and it would be nice to have them added to the next day without too much hassle. Also having them visible the next day so one does not have to go searching for them in the different lists from where they came from.
