If you have enabled the ‘Flagged email’ option from settings in To Do, then any email you flag in Outlook will show up under the ‘Flagged email’ smartlist.
From the Outlook web app, you can create a task out of an email by right-clicking —> Advanced actions —> Create task. You can also select a message in the body of an email and create a task out of it.

Our team is working on a solution to show tasks with due dates on the Outlook.com / O365 calendar. We unfortunately can’t provide an ETA on this yet, but we can assure you that we listen to your requests for it.

This would be awesome because your app is helpful in a way that I am certain you never realized. I am a person that suffers from adult ADD, anxiety and depression and it helps keep a noisy, easily distracted mind organized and on track. This is exceptionally important now more than ever due to the CCP virus situation with lock downs and social distancing. I additionally feel this more than ever because I live alone and as of June 02, 2020 lost my Mommy (I will be 54 on Christmas Day 2020 but she always has been and forever will be "Mommy" to me) so I am grieving her loss approaching my first birthday without her. There are important tasks (basic life & housekeeping tasks) that I need to do but with my chronic disorders and the loss of Mommy I find it hard to focus on.
I like to print the list and post on my refrigerator and I also love that I can access it on my iPad but a custom cheerful background on it would help perk my spirits. I was glad to see that others are suggesting that also.
