With the last update of To-Do across platforms we have enabled the option to see flagged emails from Outlook as Tasks in Microsoft To-Do. Simply flag an email in Outlook to create a task from it in To-Do.

You can enable this feature in Microsoft To-Do from within the App Settings.

To get the latest version of To-Do please go to https://products.office.com/en-us/microsoft-to-do-list-app

I have this new feature, and it works fine, except that it does not pick up the reminder set in Outlook. Is it to keep things organized so that reminders set in Outlook stays in Outlook and TO-DO has his own reminders?
I do agree that it would be disturbing to receive the same notification from two products (already is when logged on to O365 on the web and Outlook Desktop app is open, we get notifications both ways).
I'd like to be able to synch the reminders anyways so that I could completely disable the notification pop-up in Outlook and only keep the ones from To-Do. But that would require that meetings are synched as well... Now I'm starting to sound like someone that wants to get rid of Outlook Desktop app. A bit like Microsoft I'd say.. ;)

Mine is set to 1PM and it's not even picking up the reminder time set in Outlook on a flagged email

Set a default reminder time pls that would come with the setting of a reminder date or followup date. Just like it does in Outlook Desktop app
