With the last update of To-Do across platforms we have enabled the option to see flagged emails from Outlook as Tasks in Microsoft To-Do. Simply flag an email in Outlook to create a task from it in To-Do.

You can enable this feature in Microsoft To-Do from within the App Settings.

To get the latest version of To-Do please go to https://products.office.com/en-us/microsoft-to-do-list-app

A way to create a task from an e-mail would be better. In that task just link to the e-mail (or e-mail thread). I cannot control the subjects other people use in e-mail which gives me task description which do not help.

A way to add idea's (which can be tasks, or projects, etc.) from everywhere on the system without switching Apps is mandatory for a good To-do tracker.
I get the feeling that Microsoft ToDo is more geared towards the structured mind and receives input from other sources, the creative minds need a way to add stuff fast and easy to the Inbox.
