With the latest updates we have enabled file attachments also for tasks in shared lists. You can now attach files of any kind, up to 25MB per file / task to your tasks in Microsoft To-Do on all platforms.
To install the app, please go to https://products.office.com/en-us/microsoft-to-do-list-app
Flagged emails need to show in the To-Do list as synced from Exchange. It should be the same as the "To-Do" section in Outlook 2016. Also, need to be able to add reminders for flagged emails!1,814 votes
We have now released this feature for personal and work accounts for Microsoft To-Do across all platforms. Simply enable the feature in To-Do Settings and flagged emails from Outlook will show up in a special list in To-Do.

Tags would allow organization across lists and folders.
Say I have a few tasks that all have the tag #amazon, I could hit the tag and see what other things I need to grab from Amazon regardless of the list or location.
Another useful example would be for modules in a project, #backendAuth #frontendAuth #databaseStoreProcs, regardless of which sprint/list they're located in.1,741 votes
it would be nice to have a default folder for all new entries264 votes
The Tasks folder is the default folder for all new entries. We have renamed it from Inbox.
Integrating with iOS reminders would be really helpful205 votes
Using Microsoft To-Do in connection to Apple Reminders is already possible. How this works is described here:
When you type # in Wunderlist on ChromeBrowser it lists all already used tag-words, so you just can select if allready existent. This is great!76 votes
Using #hashtags in Microsoft To-Do is already possible, similar to how they worked in Wunderlist. How this works is described here: https://todosupport.helpshift.com/a/microsoft-to-do/?p=web&s=tips-tricks&f=using-tags-with-microsoft-to-do
Live Tile is now available - GREAT! But only items from "My Day" are shown. Ok, it is possible to copy single items onto the "My Day" list, but they disappear at midnight, even if they are not closed. Please keep them on that list as long as they are not closed or cancelled from that list. Otherwise the Live Tile is every morning empty. Other possible solution would be to enable also the allocation of the task list, further prop lists or single items to the live tile. My which is a feature to keep items on the live tile as long as they are not closed or cancelled. Thanks from Germany.

In our latest Windows update 1.48, you can now pin any list to the start menu. Right click on the list in the menu bar and choose Pin to Start.
It would be nice to edit a task.27 votes
Select your chosen task, this will take you into the detail view for the task. You can then edit the title by tapping/clicking on the title name.
At a bare minimum, this app should sync between devices.26 votes
Add option to EDIT task, as now it is not possible to edit task, and not even to Copy & Paste text from task.25 votes
You can edit the task by clicking on the task name in the detail view. Click/tap on the task to go into the detail view, then tap on the task name in the detail view to edit.
The list pane on the left side should be always visible in the Landscape mode on iPad. I think that's a good usage of the white space available.18 votes
In the latest iOS update 1.48, we now support a 3-pane layout on iPad, so you can see both the detail view and the list menu.
Steps should be deletable17 votes
Steps can be delete in To-Do on all platforms:
On Web: click the X button on a step or right click on the step
On Windows: click the X button on a step or right click on the step
On iOS: Swipe from right to left on the step
On Android: Swipe from right to left on the step
Please integrate with Planner! I waste so much time having to update tasks in different locations.14 votes
The good news is that you can integrate with Planner now. More details here – https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-To-Do-Blog/Planner-and-To-Do-integration-bringing-you-a-more-cohesive-task/ba-p/552740
It would be really useful if users were given the option to customise exactly what appears on the live tile rather than just the 'my day' list. There should be an option to have the live tile display the details for tasks flagged as 'important,' for example, which would be incredibly useful for users working on projects or assignments which haven't been added to the 'my day' list.2 votes
Hey, you can add any list as a live tile. https://todosupport.helpshift.com/a/microsoft-to-do/?l=en&p=all&s=tips-tricks&f=using-live-tile-with-microsoft-to-do
Wunderlist supports right to left language but in this app I am feeling diffculty. Please tell me some solution for this problem.1 vote
Right to Left language should work in the app. Please check that the language settings are correct on your device as our app takes the settings from your device settings. If you still have issues then please contact support via the app support section.
I'd like to be able to look at a list and add tasks to My Day. It's easy to make a task Important by pressing the star button, but to add to My Day you have to open up each task.1 vote
To add a task to My Day on iOS or Android you can swipe right on the task. On Windows and web you can right-click and choose Add to My Day.
I would like to export my to-do’s to a different list within the app. This will help me achieve more organization in my day.1 vote
Moving tasks to another list is possible on Windows and Web by dragging the task onto the other list in the sidebar.
On Android and iOS, you need to enable “Edit” mode within the list.
