Push notifications on shared lists
Everyone on a shared list should be able to get notified when entries are added or completed on these shared lists via push notifications on phone. Not via email.
Push notifications on shared lists for personal accounts is available in To Do. Push notifications for AAD accounts (work and school accounts) is work in progress and will be enabled soon.
Bare minimum is to have a log on WHO edited WHAT at WHEN.
Currently, the assignee can edit what the assigner has tasked, making the task invalid. This is a reason why my team is not fully using Microsoft To Do yet.
Is there an update on when this feature will release? It is the heart of all teams working in To Do, and such a basic part of Wunderlust that without it, we're lost.
I don't understand why this feature is not implemented.

Please provide a timeline for this update. I have my team using this app due to it's ease but without notifications we are not achieving the productivity I had hoped.

Also add a feature that owner of list should only be able to mark it completed. Member should only be confirming/informing that task is completed which owner of list will review and mark task completed. It will bring better control while working on shared list with team members. Currently anyone can mark it completed and owner of the list lose the control if someone wrongly marked is completed.

I want the ability to select or input a phone number that will receive push notifications when a task is updated, or a step is completed. We use To Do (wunderlist) to track the steps we use to fulfill an order, and we would like a feature where the client gets notified by an email or text message to their phone when a step is checked off.
We get a lot of "is it done yet" phone calls that we're trying to eliminate. I've seen that when I take my car in for service, I get regular text messages. The engine behind it is updatepromise.com, but it's specific to the auto industry and you can't subscribe to the service.
Moo.com also does this as your order is being processed. you get a message from little moo saying "hi, your order is in ... processing... shipping... lost... etc".
Do you have any idea when the push notifications for shared lists actions update Is due to be released ? We love this app but i absolutely need a notification when a staff member assigns me a task

Yes. Please add the Wunderlist functionality for notifications

For shared Lists please implement the notification to the List members if something changes on tasks (e.g. task done or add something) in shared Lists.

Yes please the sooner the better - this would be super helpful as I can’t carry on with some of my tasks until tasks assigned to someone else is completed.
would also be nice if notification was also for adding, editing, and/or completing a task on a shared list...
Wunderlist has it.
Not having that function In to-do is one of the reason I'm still using Wunderlist
this function is really useful

This feature is really needed. That would make out of ToDo a real application to coordinate tasks between members.
We need to know:
1) Who did a change
2) What was changed
3) When it was changed

Please have this! Otherwise it's really difficult to communicate within to do lists that are shared... you have to always guess if someone has changed it and when by keep checking. Wunderlist used to push notification when files uploaded, comments made, new assignment etc thanks
There should be notification when anything is done in shared list by any one.. Also for security deleting a task in shared list should be allowed only by owner..
Its better for me to know who change which item same as history of 1 task.
This is a very important feature to have and after looking through uservoice, I noticed that there are many similar requests...
YES PLEASE! Also maybe add a option to notify when a new task is added by a team member.
Pls update it
