# Tag search
The input tag list is displayed and I need to select the existing tag and input it when I enter a todo.
Also, when searching, it would be nice to have a function to search by various combinations of tags and text.
This feature is available in the Windows application. However, in other platforms you can manually add tags for tasks and search by them as well.
I am using the mac desktop version 3.4.7
I am using tags a lot. I love the function that tags get autofilled when I use an already used tag.
but I have two problems with it:
1) the autofill does not work for all tags and I didn't find a pattern which ones work and which ones don't (maybe if there are too many possibilities?).
2) the autofill only works when entering a new task. I would love if it worked also then editing a task.
When I add a new task and type the hash-key (#) show a list of all existing tags (like in Wunderlist).
When I then enter some letters (like "bus"), show a list of all tags beginning with "#bus".
If there is only one tag found beginning with "#bus", auto-complete the tag.
Please allow search for multiple tasks by clicking on them.
I have a list of tasks concerning a website I am building.
Many tasks have two tags (one tag describing the page, like "#Contact") and at the end an additional tag like "#MySQL").
I would love to search for both tags in a comfortable way.
At the moment I click on "#Contact" and all tasks containing this tag are shown.
But when I click on "#MySQL" then in the search field "#Contact" is deleted.
So I have to click on "#Contact" and have to enter "#MySQL" manually (I have some longer tags, so typing then is a lot of text.
Also copy & paste is not an good option.
So when I searched for a tag, please let me click on a second tag (maybe I have to press <Ctrl> or <Shift> while licking on the second tag) so both tags are used for the search.
Example: App Hashnotes

When searching by hash tag or by any other mean group the results in lists in which they belong.
View all installed tags, and option to add tags choose from the list of already existing tags
