Open email with Outlook Desktop
Thanks for the Flagged mail connection. It would be great if the email could open in Outlook Desktop instead of OWA.

Option to open emails in the desktop application should be available. Very unfortunate restriction.

The app is absolutely useless if it always insists to open mails in the web browser.

It would be great if opened in desktop version or provide an option to select desktop or web version of outlook and other apps. Trying to use fullness of outlook desktop version should be more seamless process if web version is opened upon initial use.

Same goes for Onenote Desktop

Yes, this! Please!
It's driving me crazy trying to recall what an email was about from just the top line (so I can avoid OWA popping up). -

In my opinion the use of a desktop application should have the option to go to the desktop application, not the online version. So please Microsoft, please make sure to change this or make the feature that this can be choosen somewhere.

Additionally annoying because encrypted emails are not readable in the web interface.

This will be great a great feature to get! Deep linking for all of Microsoft 365 to the desktop apps over the web apps will be fantastic.

This has my vote also, MS please give us the option to choose between desktop app or Outlook online

I would also like to see the ToDo app launch the Desktop version of Outlook rather than OWA, switching between the two total detracts from the usefulness of the ToDo app.

Really detracts from the value of the tool until this is resolved. Easier to stay in Outlook tasks (even though that is a poor interface compared with To Do)

This also applies to the Teams Desktop and the OneNote 2016 desktop, which are other sources of links for Microsoft ToDo
