KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS
It's really astonishing that there are no keyboard shortcuts for To-do (unless I'm really missing something). This is particularly essential for to-do lists - you want to be able to mark things as done or important, put them on My Day and so on without breaking up flow.

We do support keyboard shortcuts on our Windows 10 (https://todosupport.helpshift.com/a/microsoft-to-do/?s=tips-tricks&f=using-keyboard-shortcuts-with-microsoft-to-do-on-windows) and Mac (https://todosupport.helpshift.com/a/microsoft-to-do/?s=tips-tricks&f=using-keyboard-shortcuts-with-microsoft-to-do-on-mac) desktop apps as well as our web app (https://todosupport.helpshift.com/a/microsoft-to-do/?s=tips-tricks&f=using-keyboard-shortcuts-with-microsoft-to-do-on-web).

The app Things on Mac has this all figured out. They have a shortcut for everything
Command + S to set a date: I can type ' next Monday at 9 am' and it knows what I'm talking about. It's too brilliant to start using this Fisher Price toy.

We need much more keyboard shortcuts. And being able to customize them would further increase usability.

We definitely need a keyboard shortcut that will take you to the end of the list. Even though To-Do is a Microsoft application, none of the general Microsoft keyboard short cuts will work in To-Do. These should be activated as well.

The list at the URL is not complete. In my Windows App, I discovered that when I do a search, let's say "take vitamins", and a list of items for this task comes up on the display and all but the last one (for today) are crossed out because they have been completed, you can click on the last completed item with the SHFT pressed down. Then all but the last one will be highlighted, then you can right-click and select "Delete tasks", and all of the highlighted ones will be deleted. As a consequence, you have deleted all of the completed "take vitamins" task. The only one that remains is what was the last one on the list.

Most of the listed web shortcuts don't seem to work, because they use "ctrl" key combinations and applications themselves grab that. For example ctrl+N doesn't work because that's the standard key combo to create a new browser window. Similarly `ctrl+D` is a commonly used "create bookmark" key combo.

All shortcuts on Android are missing. We used to be able to type "Monday" and task would get the next Monday assigned to it.
Wunderlist made use of the free moment.js library to get this done. I am sure it could be converted and implemented easily in Microsoft Todo.

Microsoft, PLEASE read all of this, and add in the coming weeks. Have considered switching back to “reminders”, but have faith in you and want to stay with “to do”.
Features That Need Improved
- The icons on the left hand side, they represent each list as its symbol. This should be able to be changed to a very wide variety of vector images/symbols that you can also change its color at the same time to a wide variety of colors. This is because of you are super busy, and organized person. Time is everything, and the brain can more easily find a unique vector image/symbol and color quicker and easier, and helps the person using the app open the app, find the list more convenient and faster and add to, or complete a task. Especially if they have lots of list for different categories of their life, or lots of list for business management. I noticed you can change the background after you click on a list, this nice and what I’m talking about. Same scenario, but let the user do more customizations before they click on a list as well. Examples are being able to add a grocery cart picture, maybe a Home Depot symbol for home supplies you need, all while being able to change the color of these as well.-Second, can you offer the opportunity to pick a theme of how they want the list to display on the home screen of “To Do”. Let the user customize how the app feels, or/and have 2-3 themes they pick by default for users that are not as advanced. One of the themes should be nice for each list to have the new features above, but also the list would display like almost like apps on the home screen of their iPhone. Square, with the vector image/symbol large and the name of list underneath it, 3 per roll, then the adjacent rolls keep populating underneath it, 3 per roll. When click one it opens the list same as now. But their brains can easily and faster find the list when managing lots of list.
Thank you so much for reading!

Is there a way to print a list?

Have a "show completed tasks" button on the page just like the "sort alphabetically" button. I use it all the time and it's now a two step process. thank you.

Existing shortcuts are too sparse. Please add shortcuts for all basic functions (i.e., switching between task lists with Alt + number).

These keyboard shortcuts are pretty sparse, though. This is still a very mouse-intensive app.

As this suggestion is closed for voting, I created another one that is more matched with what people want: https://todo.uservoice.com/forums/597175-feature-suggestions/suggestions/39833308-global-keyboard-shortcuts

I need the global shortcut as well and this was exactly what made Wunderlist that attractive. Why did Microsoft not just re-label the perfectly fine initial app, but build worse version of it while forcing users to switch? I get the impression that Microsoft just wanted to buy Wunderlist's users and their data while killing the app.

can I add a task to TODO from anywhere in mac like I used to be able to do in wunderlist. Why the hell can I not do that ? That was the only reason I used Wunderlist.

Seriously, seriously need the system-wide keyboard shortcut that Wunderlist had! Was one of its best features.

Please add a ctrl-Z to undo something. I often accidentally mark a task completed and I wish there was a quick Undo option by pressing ctrl-Z. Right now, I have to show completed task and then uncheck it which is a bit cumbersome.

Absolutely! Keyboard shortcuts are essential.
I feel it would be most helpful to have a keyboard shortcut to add a task when To Do is not open, or is not the foremost active application. I.E.: a quick "Add Task" keyboard shortcut to use when you're busy in another application. -

Agreed with the other commenters that what is badly needed is a system-wide shortcut to create a new task.
