"New Tasks to Top of list' option (like Wunderlist)
I want new tasks to go to top of list, not bottom, s I can see them when I open list
This is now available on all apps. You can choose your option in settings.
I'm glad to hear the feature is now available! Sorry but could you be more specific as to where in the settings I can change this?
I am on the free version - is this setting available? Using Chrome/windows 10
Thanks for any help with this
I've have the same frustration. Mac OS X User:
As lists get longer it's very annoying and inefficient that they are added to the bottom of the list.
- Moving items manually to the top of the list in long lists is time-consuming and unfortunately pretty much a deal breaker.
Also, wouldn't the "+ Add a Task" bar be better placed at the top of the List/Page - Just as it was in Wunderlist?
Sorry. It's a beautiful app but these little tweaks are certainly significant and almost a deal breaker.
New Tasks are still not added to Top of the List. As simple as this might seem, it's extremely frustrating and cumbersome when lists get long.
It doesn't look like it an option in settings for the windows program. I am using version 2.7.1912.27001 and doesn't look like there is a newer version at this time.
New steps should be also on top of the list available. My executed steps are too long (for a shopping list I don't remove them, as next time I don't have to type in there just taking out the tick from the tickbox) and adding next item (Step) to the bottom makes the list crazy, as top part checked during shopping and scrolling down to search the new items is just waste of time. Also drag and drop each new item to the top of the list where 100s of entries make me crazy.

This feature does NOT exist on the Mac desktop version. Do you people test your own products? Saying you have something when you don't is disingenuous and does not inspire confidence. You already are doing Wunderlist users a massive disservice. Don't also lie to us on top of it, please.
I can't place Tasks at the bottom anymore on android, that's pretty annoying. There's a button to place new tasks at the top but that's also the default behavior when pessing enter, wich renders the button useless. I would be happy if this button can be used to append tasks or if there is an option to change the default behavior.
Edit: there is already an option :)

I like this feature, but on the android app it also seems to apply to adding existing tasks to "My Day," which is really annoying, because I'm used to adding the most important things first, or otherwise ordering them for how I want them in the day. The desktop app still does it correctly, where new tasks are added to the top, but adding an existing task to My Day sends it to the bottom of My Day.
Edit: Hmmm, now the desktop app is also doing this, where adding to My Day puts the task at the top. Adding an existing task to My Day (and maybe even moving a task to a different list) should be different from adding a new task.
In PCs, when I move a task, it DO NOT place on top. In mobils, it works well. Please fix it. Thank you.

I like this feature, but it can be a bother at times. When I copy an entire list of tasks, such as a template, it will create the copy upside down. I can override this if I remember, by turning the feature off.
Is it possible to alter it so when an entire list (group) is copied that it copies it as is?
I couldn't find this in settings for mac (version 2.12 (200214.1439), although it does work on my iphone. Can you please advise? Thanks!
This does not work for tasks inside a task. Please also add this.

Yes, it is very inconvenient that the New Tasks are bottom.
Thanks for implementing this. However, I have some Siri shortcuts set up to add items to To Do lists and these end up on the bottom even though I have the option set to add to the top.

Took half a year to get this.
maybe you should hire more people.
The app still doesn't give users the ability to "discard changes" to notes like Wunderlist (in case of accidental typos or edits). This is a major design flaw for almost any app. Imagine if Word and Excel did that.
"Save Changes: Yes/No" (can you people just put that damn thing in like Wunderlist has?)
I don't know why you guys insist on deviating from Wunderlist's UI. there's a reason why it was intuitive. it's little basic things like this. can you tell your project managers this?
Will it take another half a year just to get that one simple thing?
Tell your managers to Hire more people!
Now To-Do is allmost as good as Wunderlist was
