Automatic populating of My Day
I have several Lists each with numerous actions. I assign Due Dates to each action. Every day I have to troll through all my actions and Add to My Day on all those actions which are due today. It would save an awful lot of time if an algorithm could be devised by Microsoft which automatically registers those actions due today in My Day

While we aren’t adding automatic population of due dates to My Day at the moment, we have made some significant changes to the Planned list.
Rolling out on Android now (version 2.17), and coming soon to other platforms, you can now see a distinct Today view in the Planned list. You can also choose to group this view by list so that you get a view of what you have to do today across all your lists. You can choose to close particular lists e.g. Home if you don’t want to see it while at work.

Set a default so after X days before the deadline of your tasks they go to your day.

This seems to be the easiest and most useful function to implement at this point

Bring Due items into My Day automatically like Wunderlist

Maybe only items scheduled for that day, not overdue. I think that's the point of the "My Day" section and the AI. So you don't get distracted / overwhelmed.

My day should be the items I scheduled that day- that's how I use Wunderlist and I go through the items daily and reschedule some items if necessary. I don't get why I would schedule items for a date and then have to re-select them each day to have it all in one place. Especially recurring items, it's time consuming and annoying.

Could "my day" just show what is scheduled for today and past due items? I don't care for having to schedule tasks and then choose them all from the suggestions drop down to have them all in one place....

How about adding (automatically) to the My Day area, tasks that are due that day and also tasks that were not done - with an option to put that task in the background.
I'd like to see tasks that are quite automated without being irritating.

I use the Today list extensively in Wunderlist. I like it because it automatically populates itself with a to-do from any of my lists if it is due "today". To-do does not seem to do this. I have to hunt for what is due today and then manually add it to My Day. Manually sending them all certainly doesn't work, it's just chaos then. Deal breaker, have to go back to Wunderlist. Hopefully for now

I have to disagree. I love the idea of starting a new day with a clean slate. Please, make this optional.

It make sense My Day gets auto populated with items from To do list based on due dates. It does not make sense me individually going to each category or To do list and then move them to My Day

I loved this feature of Wunderlist. Today showed my over due items and anything due that day. If I then needed to changed a date of something I could easily. Having to choose navigate through the upcoming, overdue and suggested to add things to my day really increases the amount of time I have to spend managing the app. I want it to tell me what I need to do

This is important for overdue tasks.

If a task is due today and I haven't completed it yet, I need to complete it today. Makes sense, right?
So it would be logical, that it automatically shows up on "My Day" instead of me traversing through all my tasks every morning and trying to figure out, which ones are due today. -

This should be a standard feature! When I put in a due date, I expect the task to show up on "My Day" when the date has arrived.
This would almost entirely eliminate the need to fill in My Day manually every morning.Have a look at how Any.do is doing it: depending if you have set a date for task or not, it is dragged along from Next week to tomorrow to today.

I remove a due date (today) in one of my tasks but it won't disappear from My Day list. It's kind of confusing for me that I have to manually remove that task from My Day.

If I create a task with date in futur e.g. into folder to-do, I would expect the automatic transfer of the task into folder "My day" on the specified day.

The moment, a task is linked to a date, and that day is or becomes "today" then it should appear automatically in the "My Day" section - just as it was in Wunderlist with the "Today" list which was also connected to the dates.
