Completed items to be excluded from searches
Completed items to be excluded from searches and ability to view and search just completed items
Hiding completed tasks from Search results is now possible in the Windows 10 App and in the Android app of Microsoft To-Do.
We will also look into bringing the option to iOS and Web.

What’s the deal here. This is a ridiculous oversight and it’s been 2 years since Marcel’s comments during which time you forced happy Wunderlist users to transition to Todo. Get it done already!!!!!
Please for iOS and Mac App? Come on already!
+++ to iPhone/iOS
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.... Add this feature on MacOS App.

Plus 1 for IOS please. Doesn’t seem like it would be that hard - or is it more than an extra argument in the query? Current search results are mostly unusable. Negates the value of using hashtags.
Extraordinary that the WORKING ON IT comment from Microsoft is dated JULY 2018.
Time to ditch Microsoft To Do in favour a useable task manager.
(Mac OS user - May 2020)
- This is an absolute priority for Mac OS version.
- To Do is unusable without this being fixed.
- When I search for anything I get a list of dozens of completed items with the current ones hidden within it.
- Renders a potentially good task manager completely useless !
Please bring this feature to iOS. Outstanding since 2018.
Still waiting for MacOS support, please. 🚀
PLEASE make this available for Mac OS.
It might be very helfpul to have the result of the search (including the completed tasks) better organized than a dumb list... might be sorted according to the existing lists and folders...
Any update as to when this is available for iOS? Thanks!

The thing I use the most in ToDo is the #hashtags. The trouble is that when you click one it uses the search displaying results from ALL lists and Also including completed tasks.
I would much prefer a)The ability to toggle off the completed tasks b) ideally search within a given list
There is an option on Android to hide completed tasks when I use search but I have to click it every time I use search. App should save last state for the option

Would like to see a toggle for this option, so it can be decided upon. I search my completed tasks periodically
Please add to iOS app
Search does not group results by the list the result is included in?? No "Today" showing all due and past-due tasks????
I think, that with the planned shutdown of Wunderlist, this option will be requested much more often than before. Please add it for iOS app, almost 1,5 years have passed!
When will this be possible on iOS?

hide completed tasks is already there on the Android app, but add the option to always remember that. Annoying to have to click it every time I search.
