Browser Extension (Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Opera, Safari, xxx)
Add task from browser with support for both choosing list on each adding or/and set a standard list where entry is added by default. It would be a nice feature to show standard adding-list, and last “used” list in top position and then all lists available beneath.

Now that the iOS share option has (finally) been added, though it’s still flawed, we need the same for Google Chrome and other browsers - i.e. the capacity to add a webpage or link to our To Do list (and choose the default list it’s being saved to) with one click from within the browser.
This is such a basic function that all the other productivity apps manage without a problem, it’s amazing and ridiculous that it STILL isn’t available on the supposedly flagship ‘To Do’, especially as Wunderlist managed it fine (and we were told that To Do would replicate all of Wunderlist’s functionality)
This is an absolute must!!!
Agreed! Need this, thank you!
Please develop a chrome extension
just get it together! need this like in wunderlist!
Do it, it is already late.
it's Microsoft afterallllllllll.
You are loosing us.
Please add the function where I can select MS To Do while in a webpage to mail it to the To Do App, exactly like I do for Wunderlist... this is preventing me from moving to To Do immediately as I see Wunderlist is being discontinued in May 2020, thank you

Agreed with all comments! Having Wunderlist in my browser and even open in a sidebar of my Gmail tab is how I use the app the most. It will be a shame to lose this feature. I will have to go back to the hunt for another To Do list app. :(

I started using To Do a while back and switched back to Wunderlist because of the lack of this feature. Since Wunderlist is shutting down I'm giving it another try, but still missing this feature very much. Hope it gets added soon!
I am an office worker. The web version of wunderlist supports Google Chrome extenstion, so I can quickly include information pages. This is a very useful feature for me, but if Microsoft ’s to do application loses this support, It ’s very inconvenient for me, this loss will change my usage process drastically.

This needs more urgency as it is a very useful feature that has been lost in the move from Wunderlist, now mandatory. And how hard can it be?

ditto - what they said -- REALLY? no browser clipper? what the you-know-what was wrong with Wunderlist anyway? Allow me to again yet also too re-iterate once more -- GET IT TOGETHER MICROSOFT. I soooooooooooooooo wish I'd become a Mac user 40 years ago.
Agreed. Why buy out the perfect product in Wunderlist then reduce its usability - I cant use To Do unless you add back browser extensions - will have to stick to wunderlist till you kill it, then reluctantly move to todoist or someone else.
Why does Microsoft always half do things?
You claim in the blog, that Microsoft To-Do has everything that Wunderlist has and even it is better. Well, it could be, but it´s not yet, because of a missing browser extension. I believe that it has potential because you invest in this product, but seriously, without browser extension, it´s incomplete and half-useless. Maybe half of my tasks are going from the browser.
I believe in you guys. :)

This is absolutely absurd...Wunderlist has browser extensions and with the blog that just came out announcing the ending of Wunderlist, this is a necessity.
I vote yes for integration with google tools.
Could be interesting allow developers to craft extension in order to add features by themselves and build community like VSC has done.
Even without it i think this app is great, but with it this app would be sublime.
The app looks quite nice, however without browser extension it is incomplete. I just love to add things from web pages to my lists, collecting text and links while sorting them into the right topic. I think I'll continue to use wunderlist.
