Browser Extension (Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Opera, Safari, xxx)
Add task from browser with support for both choosing list on each adding or/and set a standard list where entry is added by default. It would be a nice feature to show standard adding-list, and last “used” list in top position and then all lists available beneath.

This would be really helpful in tagging posts that need to be incorporated in other work, or articles that need to be later read. I see there is a standalone plug-in available for Chrome, but I would be much more inclined to use one that I know is trusted by MSFT.

It is 2021. How is it possible NOT to have a browser extension for a To Do app?

A model Box that mirrors the <Create Task> Bot in Teams would seem to make sense.

Why are the (desktop-) browser-extensions missing? Wunderlist was able to save links to a list from Safari. And on iOS it is working properly. Why not in the desktop-versions of the browsers?

Why would you want a resident extension using memory instead of just visiting the website? Naa, makes no sense.

I would love to have this. I'm uncertain about using a 3rd party extension and giving it read/write to my tasks so I'm having to go without it unfortunately

Sorely needed.

Why kill a service if your replacement is shoddy? It is absurd to me that they shipped this service without having this feature. I moved from Wunderlist because I assumed that it would be easier for me considering that they would automatically migrate my data. Without this feature, which is the ONLY reason I initially used Wunderlist, I am planning to move off of this app since it doesn't have the functionality I need. If it is added, I'll consider returning.

Really missing this essential feature from Wunderlist.

It's a shame that this wasn't ready before Wunderlist shut down. Overall, I've been pretty happy with the transition to Microsoft To Do, but the lack of a Chrome extension like Todoist has is very frustrating.

Yes, I too would really appreciate an Browser Extension similar to "Wunderlist New Tab".
I use it on a daily basis and don't get it that MS just shuts down a great product without having a proper replacement available. -

I have added https://to-do.live.com/tasks/myday in "new tab direct" chrome extension and it works fine.

This would be fantastic. I do a lot of my task updating from a desktop instead of my phone, so I'd like to have a share option available for web pages there like I do on the phone.
