Weekly view for To-Do
"My day" panel is really useful, but we also need look and have present always our week goals. The possibility bump all our to-dos help to declutter our mind, but this doesn't have sense if we can't organize or order them. So by this reason think is necesary a week view or a monthly view, even a more especific dayly view (maybe by hour or by morning/afternoon/night) could be really productive.
Brett McKay talk about this topic in this video
This week we’re rolling out a brand new Planned list on Android (version 2.17) which gives you a 7 day week view. You can view the tasks by day or by list.
It will be coming soon to other platforms.
I really would like to see a My Week option, in addition to My Day!
I miss Wunderlist already :-(
I agree that a week view is essential.
I hope this feature can include "what is done" in weekly view.
Then I can do a review to improve my work next.
It is important for task planning.
I miss my priorities tasks organised by lists! I miss my week organised by days. I miss the very simple task add when I can program the date and hour in 2 clicks. I miss to drug and drop tasks between days too....I just miss Wunderlist. I will look for another app if Microsoft will not add all Wunderlist functions quick. RIP Wunderlist 😭😭😭
We need to see our tasks for the week day after day. Not just a big block. We just need the same organisation like Wunderlist. Why do you buy this super app and change it with your archaic organisation?? RIP Wunderlist 😭

Weekly view is a must.
“My day” needs to automatically include items due on that date!
Planned needs to be sorted by list!
Need weekly view
"Planned" needs to be sorted by lists!! Very important!! Please implement fast!! As it was in Wunderlist!!
Week view is a must-have feature. More generally, I'm perplexed as to why the developers would *downgrade* Wunderlist when moving to Microsoft. To Do is so obviously inferior to Wunderlist that I and many other users are being driven to different apps altogether.
I miss "my week" and "my day" which would automatically use due dates to support this
This is a good idea OR alternatively you could change the way the Planned section displays:
Currently the Planned List display is organized in the following groups:
- the next 5 days as a group
- finally all the rest.
Suggest modifying to show:
- Daily list for the next 10 days
- followed by activities for next 4 weeks organized by week
- followed by all remaining activities organized by month
This option would only require changes to the organization and display of the Planned page, not construction of a totally new display page.
Current display situations are not comparable to Outlook or former Wunderlist.
Please don’t suggest us how we have to use the Wunderlist. Just leave Wunderlist. Not need to complicate and make modifications to something that worked perfectly before you decide to bring your bulshit
You have to leave like the Wunderlist. Just it!!! Leave the TODAY sorted by lists. Leave the WEEK sorted by days. Leave IMPORTANT sorted by lists!!
I’m in agreement that When sunsetting wunderlist, product management needs to create some kind of transition. Wunderlist is used by many to manage their lifestyle and tasks associated to life, home and work. Changing views greatly impacts this similar to someone telling you how to change your lifestyle.
One simple product change would be to change planned Later view to day by day for the week so it allows folks to plan. It’s so hard to see a Later view with days worth of tasks.
I’d rather revert to post it notes or just using a calendar. Please help
The week list from Wunderlist basically needs to be copied by MS To Do. One of the most helpful features was being able to drag and drop tasks between days. That makes reorganizing your work as the work week progresses simple.
Planned view almost does the same thing as the week view from Wunderlist, but only for today and tomorrow. Planned view is actually quite disorganized since the tasks that have been assigned dates are all jumbled together. Planned view would work much better if each date that you have assigned tasks was a list on its own, like the today and tomorrow lists.
Make it possible to manually arrange tasks in the Important list
Agreed with this. I use Wunderlist. I use "week view" almost exclusively to see all past due tasks and tasks up to a week out.
The "my day" feature of ToDo is a massive pointless hassle for someone that just wants a persistent list of past and future tasks to check off (that doesn't needlessly clutter the view with tasks several months in the future, ie the "planned" view in ToDo).
But if this isn't the kind of use case you're going for (simple), I can probably find an alternative. I liked Wunderlist. ToDo is still worse and less user friendly.
I mean, you have the guy that created 2Day for Windows phone on your team. That was better years ago than even Wunderlist is now. Why do you keep making worse scheduling apps?
Yes, I am really missing the week view. The Planned view is not an adequate break down of tasks per day. Thanks.
