Copy and Paste Lists and Tasks
This was a really handy feature in Wunderlist - the ability to copy/paste both lists and tasks...
I had a number of template lists which I could copy if I needed. For instance, a generic list of holiday items to pack which would be copied/pasted each time I went on a new trip.
Thankfully - the excellent integration with Outlook means I can do this at the Outlook end, and it'll be replicated in To-Do! :)
On Web, you can duplicate lists and tasks. On Windows, you can duplicate lists but not tasks.
Basically you can have templates for lists and duplicate them on both Windows and Web.

Yes, I would love to duplicate a task and steps. Really helps with Workflow!
Add "copy/paste" to MacOS
A) Please give Mac platform full functionality. It’s so 90’s to limit Mac users. That we can’t duplicate or copy and paste lists is inadequate.
B) And while you’re at it, it would be nice to be able to duplicate whole groups. Thank you.
copy past steps would be wonderful
Copy Task in Desktop App and Android App is needed! It is only available in Web App.
Need this feature in Android App as well.
Adding a copy task feature would be great. Similar to the move and copy function in Excel.
"On Web, you can duplicate lists and tasks."
Yes and why can't we do this on the app (mac OS) ?
I'd love to have some ctrl+c ctrl+v action going on, it would make Microsoft To Do more powerful.
When copy on Android???
I want to copy and paste from an excel sheet and want to add them as individual tasks

This migration was disappointing. Anyone out there know of an app with duplicating, copying, and pasting lists/tasks?
I also think repeating tasks don't require "due dates". It's unnecessary and makes a mess.
There needs to be an ability to create a Master Shopping/To Do List then copy it for separate occasions.

I use the copy & paste on the Web version. But I need to remember to turn off Add New Tasks To Top and Add Starred Tasks To Top before making the copy, otherwise it will create them in reverse order.
I'd suggest that when copying ToDo not follow these rules and have the copies in their original order.

Yes, copy + paste with full support of included content is really missing.

I did not know about copy and paste in Wunderlist but used the share function which allowed me to have some items, a whole list or all lists in a new mail in the default mail program where I copied it into another mail, printed it or mailed it directly.
I wish to have copy and paste and / or share to e-Mail again (Mac and PC).
This is so super important to have... it should be implemented in the desktop app! The browser can handle lists as separate tasks but you have to enter one individually in the desktop app. It's powerful.
The ability to copy tasks, copy sub-tasks or to create task templates are a must!

I’ve just downloaded To Do onto my desktop Mac, iPhone and iPad, and discovered I can’t duplicate lists. What’s the point of having the apps, if I can only do this on the webversion?
I decided not to use My Day because I don’t want my tasks to disappear at the end of the day. I decided not to use the Recurring feature because it’s too much confusing clutter.
My solution was to make a Today folder, and copy the recurring tasks there-
...but now find I can only copy tasks on the PC, not iphone. It has Move To but not Copy To. Very frustrating.
