Please add more backgrounds and colors for the theme options and also let us choose a custom background.

Thank you for all the votes and comments here! We are closing this feature suggestion as we have implemented an option to set background images for each list with version 2.0 of To Do. In case you have additional requests, please vote on the separate thread for more specific ideas.

Wunderlist's UI is better. I have made the switch to To Do because I'm being forced to so I'd like to see an improvement to the themes. Wunderlist visually separates the sections of each task. A few elements that would be an improvement, in my humble opinion.
1: Notes background lined paper effect. The ivory Note background is better. If not set by default then give us the option to set it.
2: Set Due Date and Remind Me should be at the top of the window, not pushed down by "Next Steps".
3: Each step looks better in Wunderlist with the horizontal line separating them.

Hi,
Right now the default theme color is always violet/purple.
I would like all my new lists to start with the light grey as I don't like too much coloring.
On MacOS the primary color is grey as it is easy on the eyes. It does't make sense for you to put purple there.
How can I do that?

Where is the wooden background from Wunderlist?

When you're in the Planned section to look at everything, it would be nice if the colors/theme flowed through for visual organization

If the boxes could be see through like they are on Wunderlist, that would be a lot better.

Not a fan at all of the rounded rectangles. That seems very Google-y to me. Much preferred the lines/flat look. Also, now on the Windows 10 app, the sheet that slides over with options (remind/due date, etc.) squeezes the text of the to-do item to the point that it looks terrible.

New design is hot garbage on desktop and barely passable on mobile. Please allow use the option to roll back to the old theme that was more readable and easier on the eyes.
