I loved the way wunderlist had Smart Lists. I can't do without Starred and Week and even completed. Please add that to To-Do.
- Next 10 days
- Recurring tasks
- Tasks in shared lists
- Assigned to me
- Tasks with due date
- Tasks without due date
- Tasks due on xxx day
We now have the All and Completed smart lists across all platforms.
We also have a brand new Planned list, rolling out now on Android (version 2.17), and coming soon to other platforms. Here you get a distinct Tomorrow and Week view. You can also group the view by list.
I don't know why Today and Week were removed. Planned shows all your tasks for the next year which can be overwhelming.
E interessante segmentar por cor, como no Trello por exemplo, para que numa lista de visão geral como a de listas gerais, possamos priorizar a execução no dia ou na semana.

Agree with Big Greg and AB. Also I noticed with the last release that every time I re-open ToDoi my Planned list defaults back to just showing the week and not All like I had previously set. It’s annoying that I have to keep setting my list back to the way it was when I last viewed it. Please fix, thank you!

Please make ALL smartlists groupable by the original lists AND sortable within these groupings !
Otherwise the todos are mixed up in a big mess !
+1 here for a smart list for undated tasks.
I'm very disappointed with the Planned List changes on Android version 2.17, which I assume will soon arrive on my iPad & iPhone Todo apps.
I loved the default grouping of my Planned list tasks by Earlier/Today/Tomorrow/Following Week/Later. It was the 1st thing I opened every morning. Now its gone - instead I have to review each of these groups individually, yes one by one, while I try to remember what tasks were shown on my previously selected Planned view.
I'm also very disappointed with the functionality of the "view Completed tasks" option on the bottom of the each list - great idea, but no way to sort the completed tasks and they are not even sorted in the same order as the selected sort option for the incomplete tasks. Ideally they need their own sort option.
Luckily I have an iPad because I'm not using ToDo on my Samsung phone since this release - just too painful.
I understand why UI changes like these are requested, but they need to include configurable options.
Yes please - I agree with this suggested list - especially "Overdue" :)

I list for tasks without due date would be great.

I need "assign to myself" feature so badly when it comes with managing todo list with our own team.
Simple AND(&) OR(|) NOT(!)/NOT(~) and using of Brackets to make search queries would be very helpful.
Also, if we could save these "filters" (or "queries") for filtering out tasks.

Thanks for All and Completed they are appreciated. Now please prioritize the smart list those without a scheduled date. I really need that one.
For anyone using Alfred on MacOS, I've put together a workflow to enable some of the functionality requested in this thread. https://github.com/johandebeurs/alfred-mstodo-workflow. Please feel free to use if you want to get some list customisation beyond what is available in the app. I'll work on some of the ideas posted here and see if I can develop the functionality for you to create your own smart lists
User defined smart lists would make to do the best app out there

Instead of giving users preset smart lists, why not let us create our own?
Let sort and filter tasks, and then save those sort and filter settings as a smart list!
Definitely +1. The api looks like it has the ability to support this basic functionality using odata queries so it should be a relatively simple change
I need the tomorrow list
Yes. I love the Wunderlist smart lists and Im struggling to get used to To Do because its lacking the simplicity that Wunderlist offered.
I highly suggest that you offer the various smart lists that Wunderlist had and let the users chose which ones they want to see.
One list that is absolutely useful is "ALL" - I used to start my week by always looking at ALL and planning my week ahead. To Do does not offer this and I have to go to each list I have to see what else is there that doesnt have a due date.

Need one more smart list to manage tasks in different lists without due date. Thanks!
Tomorrow smart list！！！I need this.

It would be great to have a smart list showing: Unplanned tasks.
The list could be hidden if empty.
With this I can ensure I am not forgetting any of the tasks in my other lists, without going through all individual lists.
