To-Do Dashboard and Statistics
To-Do should to create a dashboard with the follow features:
- How many tasks (today, tomorrow, week, overdue, all);
- Daily/weekly/monthly completed tasks average, trending, etc; (data analysis per statistics to know our productivity);
- Charts with data analysis regarding the tasks done.

As Susan said: make it optional. Like add a boolean setting if you want to receive the mail I suggested. Perhaps even opt-in? so that you don't nag existing users with mail? But please notify me when the option is there

I prefer to have this outside the app. As a weekly (or monthly) e-mail. Also with how many new tasks I created and how many I completed. Perhaps even push it to the "habits" app if I have completed more then I created. To track my progress.

Yes to all that, but please include the bucket experience/view of Planner (Not Started; In Progress; Completed) as well at a Gantt chart view so you can see if you a slew tasks' due dates is stacking up all at the same time, which would visually surface for/reveal to the user that he/she needs to plan his/her time better by rescheduling some tasks' due dates, or renegotiating their due dates with stakeholders/owners. So, basically, please bring in the Planner chart features, the Planner grouping experience/views (Plan; Progress; Due Date; Priority), Pomodoro, and Gantt. These features are super relevant to individual users, not just to teams. That would do for the ultimate To Do app.

The dashboard should have a better design and should be customized because current ToDo's home is boring

I like the feature “todoist” have of being able to see your task completion rates etc. It really helps reduce risk of procrastination. Would love to see similar added.

FWIW, things like this really motivate me when they help me see when I'm productive and how productive I am. They enable gamification of productivity...

I'd like to see this. Is there any API that other apps might use to extract this data?
I use hashtags extensively with my to-dos and I'd like to see how many I have open and how many I've completed on a calendar or at least as a summary per time division (day, week, month, year)

The statistics could be even more accurate if coupled with the Pomodoro technique!
I discovered it recently and it allows to focus on some tasks within ~20min timespan, allocate time by topic, and get statistics at working-day level;
with this pomodoro feature you could also track the Time you spend on specific tasks, along with the number of tasks;
Today to get such statistics I use Focus To-do, another app which has this Pomodoro feature; however I would prefer it very much if those stats could be accessible directly on Microsoft To-Do.
The pomodoro feature (basically a timer) would be a Quick-win for microsoft as it brings great value to the users for minimal investment.
Please look into it when reviewing the idea for statistics, as it would considerably enrich them to have this feature as well!

This is valuable, in spite of the fact that it will be essential to help basically click that page connect.
