This is a must given that this is a Microsoft product

Voting for this. It is a must have feature. When adding a file to the task, we must be able to select from OneDrive or Sharepoint using search or navigation. The file can show up just like in the new Outlook Web Interface.

please make this a choice between attaching and linking a file so I can choose if it a copy or stays in sync with onedrive

Agree. If Microsoft supports productivity, please enable One Drive attachment integration.

very important because it would provide a convenient way to back up the ToDo info, just as we do for OneNote
if data resides in M$ cloud - coherent and consistent -

I am also interested to put attachments to task (but only a link connection) actual file should be on OneDrive (personal or work), or on SharePoint site.

This feature could just simply be the ability to add links to the task. All OneDrive files can have links generated but would be flexible to anything artifacts you have a link to (e.g. webpages, GDrive files, etc)

It would be nice to have the option for select files from storage cloud like Sharepoint, Onedrive, Dropbox etc... using simple connectors as for microsoft flow.

Support OneDrive links as well as image, office, PDF attachments.
Also support inserted mail and contact envelopes.
Until then this is just a hobby and not meant to be taken seriously.
