Retain Wunderlist star icon and color scheme
Wunderlist is one of the few apps I use on a daily basis that I LOVE and to which I honestly feel an emotional connection. MSFT To-Do is as generic and corporate a name as imagineable and while I want to be optimistic about this successor to Wunderlist, can you please keep the WL branding/identity?
Hahaha I thought I was a little crazy I develop an emotional connection with Wunderlist but I see now I'm not the only one. I would like To-Do just be exactly the same Wunderlist was, with improvements only, not changes....
I really want Microsoft to
1) Keep the Wunderlist app icon, to which I have established an emotional connection
2) Keep the the current themes in Wunderlist (e.g. wood) - you can always add MORE themes, just don't get rid of Wunderlist's existing ones!
3) Keep the checkboxes (no circles!)
I really want to see Microsoft keep Wunderlist's original branding (app icon and themes). As another comment mentioned, I agree that the app icon is unique and distinctive, and honestly I feel an emotional connection to it (as mentioned by the person who created this suggestion post). I use the wood-desktop theme, and I definitely think it sets the app apart from other competitors. I also agree with another person's comment on this post that square check boxes are better than the circle ones offered in a lot of competitor apps.
You are going to lose a lot of loyal customers/users to competitor apps if you do not keep the look and feel of Wunderlist. As long as you keep the most basic and most-used features of Wunderlist and the look/feel, I don't think you need to worry about losing any users to your competitors.

Not gonna happen people.
Came here for this. I love the unique design of the Wunderlist icon and themes the app offers. Microsofts new app is bland and boring and offers nothing that it's competitors don't already offer.
Fully agree to the idea and the first comment. The old design was nice. Also I want to highlight that the square check boxes felt better.
I already know that, no matter how many likes this suggestion gets, icon won't be retained (a pity, it was unique and distinctive; new one is just "another to-do" app icon).
But what about Wunderlist app themes? The wood-desktop and the other unique themes were very nice and expressive. Please, talk about keeping at list the themes / color schemes as user-options.
Also, I know it might sound minor, but the square check boxes felt much nicer compared to the circle ones.
