Hide completed tasks in My Day
Much like Wunderlist, I like when I close out a task to see it removed (hidden) so I can see my list getting shorter during the day or week.
Currently on "My Day" I have to manually right-click to remove a completed task, which feels like I need to click 2-3 times to close a task.
Maybe consider adding the "hide complete tasks" options either site-wide or on this page as well. You have it everywhere else already (other lists)

With version 1.33 we’ve added list options to My Day, so you can now select your background, sort your to-dos and choose to hide your completed to-dos there. The update should now be available in the Microsoft Store, Google Play Store, iOS App Store, as well as on to-do.microsoft.com in the browser.

Hiding completed recurring shared tasks in my day still does not work. The snowman button menu option to hide or show completed shared tasks does nothing on my phone but does work on my wife's phone. Completed recurring shared tasks show up in my day as Tomorrow, several seconds after I check it off as completed. Both phones are Google Pixel 2XL with Android 10. I have wiped cache and app data, uninstalled ToDo app, rebooted, reinstalled ToDo, logged in, and the problem is not resolved. What steps am I missing? 2020 Jan 25.

the hidden list of completed tasks is now putting most recently completed at the bottom of the list. not ideal for tracking work. Is there a way to set it so that most recent is always at the top?

I'm using to do on my ipad for tasks and it syncs with outlook on my computer. I like to see my completed tasks, and in outlook when I mark them complete I still see them. But on my ipad when using to do they just disappear, and then they disappear from outlook as they sync. Even with the setting to see completed tasks, they are not there. How do I mark it complete in to do and still see it?

Agree with making it an options. Some people would like to see their completed tasks, others may want them to go to a "completed" bucket. Wunderlist has a good handle on this.

Another suggestion would be, instead of hiding completed task, Just move them at the bottom.

Glad to see that you going to work on this, but I urge you to make it OPTIONAL at the User Level whether or not a completed task will be removed from the My Day view. I like the fact that when I look at my My Day, I can easily see what I have done (Completed) and what I still have to do (Uncompleted). I assume that if given this option, I could still click on the completed task and manually remove it from the My Day view anyway. Thanks for listening...

I hope you add this soon...right now I have to right click on the task to remove it from "my day." It'd be much easier if it was simply removed from "My Day" once completed.
BTW...I LOVE this app!!! :)

I would suggest that you consider the value of this app is its simplicity. People have to do’s they want to see disappear when they check off the box. There are other options for more sophisticated workflows like Trello, Outlook, Calendar, etc. The core users including myself are looking for something to manage what they are doing right now, not tomorrow, next week or whenever. I like the clean UI and for many of the votes above, including priorities (drag your lists around to order them, people) this would be an essential upgrade to keep with the clean, no frills core of this app.

I wonder how many hours (or days) I have spent so far moving all completed tasks to the bottom of My Day.
Especially at the weekend where I have 20 to 30 tasks on "My Day" -

I have no problem viewing my completed To Dos under My Day view but please make the list smart by auto moving completed tasks to the bottom of the list. That way, it can became easier to see tasks that are pending at a glance.

So .... where is this feature? It's very easy to implement and too much time has passed!

There should be a way to clear completed items in My Day. currently I need to manually go and remove each one of them which is painful. Please provide a way to "hide" completed items from My day.

Adding options like hiding or moving completed items to the bottom of the list, would be the most valuable change to Microsoft To-Do.

You can sort tasks by completed in lists, but not in the most important list (to me): My Day. Please also add sorting to My Day!
