Sync with tasks in OneNote
Please allow 2 way sync with OneNote ToDo tag.

It would be nice to get a list of "OneNote Tasks" in the app as well.
This would be extremely helpful in our org.
Please add it!
OneNote's lack of integration is a disaster in terms of its usability this is yet another example of it. After two years this should be fixed.
This would be VERY helpful

Hi To-Do PM(s),
Where is this in the backlog?
This seems like it should have been feature #1 when To-Do was created. Let’s get this off the backlog and get working on it. Thanks!
Please add the ability to take tasks created in One Note to populate Microsoft To-Do! That is a HUGE step in the efficiency of OneNote, in particular.
Until / unless this is resolved I must continue to use OneNote 2016, which at least allows me to get my tasks into outlook. But long term, if this is not fixed I will probably, like many others, have to go back to GSuite and programs like Evernote. After returning to MSOffice I can't say I am impressed. I was hoping for better intergration than this. As a work around, I can't even copy and paste lists of tasks over from OneNote into To-Do to save time. Please resolve this!
Screw MacOs and iOS, please come in Windows edition ASAP
come on microsoft. 2 years and still not integrated? onenote is great, but I have no way to get notified about all of the tasks created through the hundred pages I have with lists on them. It only makes sense. What is the hold up?
Sync of Task with OneNote would be great - not only in Windows but also on MacOs and iOS!
I just looked through 70 or so comments for this feature suggestion.
I would like to identify an underlying concept in many of them: Microsoft products traditionally have strong interconnections with each other and with OneDrive.
This request is a special case of that concept: a major Microsoft strength is the communality of Office apps, that they integrate with each other and all of them can use OneDrive.
Given that OneNote is used (I'd love to see the telemetry on this) by all manner of professionals, not only students, it makes sense that the obvious useful integrations should be there. I say obvious because if Microsoft wants to continue with its strengths, one of which is this integration, these kinds of functionalities should be important: among OneNote, Outlook, OneDrive, ToDo - at least.
I can't think of any professional use for a ToDo program that *doesn't* integrate in the obvious ways with these other applications we are using, except, as a few have commented, to make out a trivial grocery list.

More than 2 years on backlog. This screems for agility

Do this and you can compete with Evernote and convert some of their users.
Outlook and OneNote task/flag sync was one of the best features in the (old) OneNote desktop client years ago. With the creation of the new OneNote (modern) app, sadly this functionality (along with many others) went away so did all the productivity advantages of this integration. Glad to see there is lots of interest to bring this back to life with the new software.

This function is urgently needed!
Please prioritise this feature. The upvotes speak the need.

Onenote task should just appear as another list in Tasks, and Tasks entered probably should appear in Onenote in a special pane.
Import / export of tasks should be greatly improved. This walled application thing tasks has going impedes the use of Tasks in a professional way. The app right now works well for 5-10 things you need to pick up at the store, but not professional enough in features to track a project.
Please also add SHIFT SELECT to mass delete items. On the windows 10 client, there should be adherence to standard windows UI functions.
Why is this still on the backlog? Since the Outlook Tasks feature went away with Onenote 2019, and To-Do is the new task system of focus, the To-Do tag in OneNote would be a VERY important integration!
