Outlook Mail Integration
Having a quick way to convert emails in Outlook to tasks that show up in Microsoft To-Do.
With the last update of To-Do across platforms we have enabled the option to see flagged emails from Outlook as Tasks in Microsoft To-Do. Simply flag an email in Outlook to create a task from it in To-Do.
You can enable this feature in Microsoft To-Do from within the App Settings.

Outlook Tasks has a ton of features and I understand it's impossible to implement them all in To-Do. But there are features in Outlook that I use daily that will keep me from using To-Do: Start Date, Priority, Status, Categories, multiple sorting options (including multi-level), filtered views, showing flagged email alongside task items, and integration with OneNote (linking, integration with OneNote To-Do tags). Also (less important to me): integration with other apps (e.g., TeamMate) and custom fields that can be used for filtering and sorting. I like the basic UX (Outlook is functional but not nice to use), but without features like these, To-Do is just another simple list-keeping app for people who have very few to-do items to track.
Drag and Drop emails from Outlook to To-Do to
(1) create a new to-do; and
(2) add the email to the to-do.
When adding the email to the to-do, it should be added as an attachment, but have its own category ("Emails"). There are many times that a task requires several back and forth emails with someone else to accomplish the task and it would be great to be able to keep a working copy of all those discussions with the task.
I currently use OneNote for this, since it is so easy to send an email from OneNote to Outlook.

And I honestly have always thought that Outlook tasks is in dire need of being updated. At the very least, To-Do offers a great face-lift but with that even aside, To-Do could in some ways essentially replace Tasks in Outlook. Which would be very nice.
If you create a task or drag email to task in Outlook, it should not only add the task to Todo, like wunderlist, but give you the ability to open the todo app and click in the linked email to go back to the source
I want to be able to flag email as a to do/task from any Outlook app, assign a due date and view my to do's on my Outlook calendar across my devices. Currently I only have this functionality on my Outlook client. Eventually, after the basics are covered - some thinking about how and if this should integrate with Planner, Teams and Groups.

The ability to open the original email ( desktop/ mobile / web ) from the task created in to-do would be great.
I use a different calendar in Outlook as my default calendar so it would be nice to be able to change the Original calender or add a different Outlook calendar to the lists

The new "My Family" calendar is not appearing. Would be good to include this. Also have a different icon for the calendars To Do. Group calendar to-do lists. Looks good so far though.
In outlook link calendar (evernote, Facebook, wunderlist)

One of the new features in the Outlook program is the extension feature. Wunderlist is there now. Please replace with To-Do
Tasks should have also option to add due time, this gives an opportunity to display them on calendar, but also sort by due date/time reorders list according to day flow and no need to manually sort.

Having "smart" entries in the to dos for sending email, etc. would be really great. Also consider allow the "call" option to use just a phone number (not a contact) and email just an email address. Should provide obvious actions (maybe with a pop-up menu) when clicking on the task.
The calendar list only show two of three calendars on my outlook account and nothing from my 365 exchange account

Love the idea of dynamic people tags for O365 Enterprise users... make all users available from Azure AD and Office Graph API so that their name in the task appears as a dynamic link. In certain apps (Windows desktop, web, etc) it could then surface a contact card with ability to skype call, email, etc.
Integrate/sync with Dynamics 365 and Outlook Tasks added from OneNote

When integrating as an Outlook Calendar Add-on, please make sure that it captures and shows the time due for the task. Always felt that showing all tasks as All Day was a major limitation of Wunderlist. Would like to see that improved with ToDo.

Yes please allow to-do tasks to appear on calendars within Outlook as well as display within Cortana. To-dos showing within Outlook is a must have in order for this to actually be used by many more people.

It should sync new to-do events back into Outlook
