Less hidden Recurring items
I don't see any way of setting reminders or recurring items, as you can with Wunderlist. I don't see the point of the app, otherwise.

Thank you for all your feedback! We have now updated the design of the Detail View to always show the Repeat option. This makes the feature easier to discover and quicker to use.

I don't seem to be able to get the app do do a simple reoccurring reminder.
For example "Take AM pills" set for 5 AM every day with no more input from me unless I want to stop it.
It doesn't seem to move to the next day unless I set a new 'due date' or something else maybe, I'm not even sure.
This seems like the most basic of tasks but I've not been able to get it to work consistently.
Windows 10 app.

I found success by adding my recurring todos from the suggestions list- that little lightbulb in the top right hand corner of the app. Adding a todo from that menu moves a brand new todo, unchecked-off, to Your Day. It also shows you some of the todos you have coming up, and some from your other lists.
So, check that out, that's how I fixed it- but seriously, this is not clear, and adding a fully completed (checked-off) daily is a very frustrating experience, just letting you know. Good luck, all!

For those of us on machines with store restrictions or older versions of Windows (sad but not my fault) will be even seeing the "Repeat" option?

I really can't use the app without a recurring feature.

Would like to have daily reminders that return each day, such as study foreign language, read for 30 minutes, etc.
No way to have a task recur in My Day. -

You can easily set up recurring reminders easily. Although they can change the way so that it's not hidden.

More custom repeat options would be nice too. Like being able to repeat a task on, say, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, every other week.

Am I missing something here.,,when I repeat a task, it repeats everything including the fact that I checked off sub items in the list previously. Why the hell would somebody want a task repeated if not because there is a need to recomplete the task... let’s say I have a repeat task for brushing my teeth, with that task appears the next day now, it had copied in the completion of it. Looks like I don’t need to brush my teeth Mr. dentist, look here at my Microsoft to do list, says right here Mr. dentist man don’t Yell at me.

Tape Op: While reoccuring tasks works, the reminders for them do NOT update.
So you cannot use To-Do to remind you of weekly tasks without having to manually update the new task every time you complete the old.THAT is the issue, I believe is described here. Hopefully a fix will come for it within a month. To me, it is one of the final features, that prevents me from using To-Do full time :)

Damn... feel silly now. I found it. For some bizarre reason I assumed it would work on the reminder date but no... it's due date that makes the repeat functionality appear. It's not obvious to me how reminders would work now since they'll very quickly end up in the past but hey that's life.
In the meantime, I'm inclined to think that the feature is hard enough to find to qualify as a UI Fail.

Sounds like there are two variations on the same idea here;
1. Same task repeating....
For example, as part of the Microsoft secure score program, I need to review malware detections every week. I want to put that in, with a URL and be able to tick it off as "done"... but then I want it to bother me again next week.2. Similar task repeating
As in the car registration example where you don't want the information from the previous instance to carry over.RayVra said the feature was already there (July 2017) but I can't find it.
